Expansions on the cards
Dubai’s Lebanese food scene is getting another reason to queue. Em Sherif Deli, one of the city’s most buzzed-about openings of the year, is expanding with a second Dubai location, landing at Galleria Mall, Al Barsha this month.
Backed by Lavoya Group, the neighbourhood deli follows the runaway success of its One Central debut, which opened in September and quickly became a go-to for everything from early breakfasts to late-night shawarma runs.
Since opening its doors at One Central, Em Sherif Deli has built a loyal following, with daily queues, repeat regulars and a steady stream of diners drawn to its comforting Lebanese flavours and easygoing vibe. Think approachable mezze, hearty sandwiches, nostalgic sweet treats and that unmistakable feeling of eating somewhere that feels like home.
The Al Barsha outpost brings the same winning formula to a new neighbourhood, offering an all-day dining experience designed for both quick bites and leisurely catch-ups.
The new branch will feature a bright indoor–outdoor space at Galleria Mall, serving up a full spread from breakfast through to evening. Expect grab-and-go options, signature sandwiches, refreshing specialty drinks and a tempting selection of sweet treats.
A highlight is the much-loved Mouneh corner, stocked with pantry staples such as pickles, jams and spices, alongside Em Sherif Deli merchandise for fans keen to take a little piece of the brand home.

For Chef Yasmina Hayek, the expansion is about more than just opening another location. “The most meaningful part of our journey in Dubai has been seeing how people embraced the Deli so naturally,” she says. “Opening at Galleria Mall, Al Barsha allows us to bring that feeling to another community.”
