Parisian buzz in the neighbourhood
Dubai’s love affair with French brasserie dining has a new address. CQ French Brasserie, the homegrown concept by Rosy Hospitality, has officially opened its second location at the Grand Millennium Hotel in Barsha Heights, following the success of its much-loved JLT outpost.
Built on the idea of La Brasserie des Potes – a brasserie for friends and family – the new opening stays true to CQ’s core values: honest cooking, warm service and a convivial, come-as-you-are atmosphere.
Spanning 750 square metres, CQ Barsha Heights channels the rhythm of Parisian brasserie life through a contemporary, design-forward lens. Created by Yasmin Farahmandy of Y Design Interior, the space pairs classic French details – mosaic floors, bentwood chairs, striped awnings and brass accents – with softer Mediterranean touches, from olive trees to warm, layered lighting.

The colour palette of deep greens, burgundy and warm creams is designed to encourage long lunches, lingering dinners and late-night conversations – exactly as a neighbourhood brasserie should.
Unique to this location is an open kitchen, offering diners a front-row seat to the action and reinforcing CQ’s commitment to transparency and craft. Two private dining rooms add flexibility for intimate celebrations or corporate gatherings, seating up to 28 guests when combined and equipped with AV facilities and switchable privacy glass.
With space for 250 guests, CQ Barsha Heights balances 115 indoor seats with a generous, climate-controlled terrace. At the centre sits a Parisian-style island bar that flows seamlessly between inside and out, crowned by the brand’s emblematic Golden Rooster – Le Coq d’Or – a nod to French heritage and CQ’s identity.

The menu mirrors CQ JLT’s crowd-pleasing lineup, from Escargots and Moules Frites to the signature CQ Steak Frites, alongside Crème Brûlée and Pain Perdu for dessert. Newer additions, including Poisson Frites and expanded seafood and vegetarian options, keep things fresh while staying rooted in tradition. Barsha Heights also introduces its own signature cocktail list, inspired by the neighbourhood.
Regulars can expect the full roster of CQ’s weekly favourites, including Steak Frites Mondays, Moules Frites Tuesdays, Ladies’ Night Thursdays, the Gentlemen’s Menu on Saturdays and the easygoing Sunday LunchDay.

Open daily from 12pm to 1am, CQ French Brasserie Barsha Heights marks a confident new chapter for Rosy Hospitality – and a welcome new local for Dubai diners who like their French food generous, relaxed and full of soul.
