Exquisite desert dining
Arabian Adventures has raised the bar on desert safaris with the launch of The Nomad Garden, a new luxury dining experience set deep within the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve (DDCR). Designed for residents and travellers craving something a little more special, this elevated evening blends fine dining, immersive entertainment and authentic Bedouin heritage — all under the stars.
The experience begins at golden hour at the Whispering Angel Sunset Lounge, a stylish dune-top hideaway created in partnership with the globally loved Provence rosé. Expect sweeping desert views, curated canapés and a perfectly chilled glass of Whispering Angel as the sun melts into the sand — a strong start, to say the least.
As night falls, guests are guided to private tables for a Bedouin-style barbecue dinner curated by Signature Events by JW Marriott Marquis Dubai. Think restaurant-quality service in a desert setting, complete with sunken firepit lounges and soft candlelight.
The bespoke three-course menu celebrates regional flavours, from freshly baked bread and Arabic mezze to slow-cooked meats prepared using the traditional Bedouin zarb method. Dessert comes with a modern twist in the form of indulgent ‘Dubai Chocolate’, followed by Moroccan mint tea and Arabic sweets. A fully serviced bar and optional wine list are also available for those looking to elevate the evening further.
This isn’t just about the food. On the way to the dining site, expert safari guides lead guests through the protected reserve for wildlife sightings, offering a rare glimpse of native desert animals. The evening also includes falcon encounters, camel rides and sandboarding for those feeling adventurous.
During dinner, live Oud music sets the mood, before the night closes with a dramatic fire show that lights up the desert sky — a fitting finale to an unforgettable experience.

The Nomad Garden runs every evening except Mondays. The experience includes 4×4 transfers, sunset canapés and rosé, a three-course Arabic dinner, live entertainment and desert activities. Private transfers and overnight desert safari extensions can be arranged for those wanting to turn the evening into a full escape. Bookings are now open directly through Arabian Adventures.
