Street food, elevated
Dubai’s dining scene is gearing up for a high-energy takeover as CarniVibes: Curbside Alchemy Vol. 4returns to Alserkal Avenue on Saturday April 11. Running from 4pm to 9pm, the open-fire food festival is back for one evening only — and it’s shaping up to be its biggest edition yet.
Created by CarniStore, the city’s homegrown modern butcher, CarniVibes has grown from a low-key chef gathering into one of Dubai’s most anticipated culinary events. Built around a shared love of food, fire and community, it spotlights the chefs and producers driving the city’s ever-evolving food culture.
The Line Up
This year’s edition brings together a stellar roster of talent, each serving up exclusive, one-off dishes you won’t find anywhere else. Expect bold flavours and inventive takes from Robin Höfer of Kraken, Naved Nasir of Khadak, Solemann Haddad of Moonrise and Omar Basiony of Bâoli.
Highlights include wagyu beef maultasche and layered beef skewers, a turkey raan burger and chicken chakna roll, plus a loomi burger and grilled cheese bites. There’s also a 12-hour wagyu short rib and kimchi-glazed spit-roasted lamb on the cards — all designed to showcase premium ingredients with a street-food edge.
More Than Food
CarniVibes isn’t just about eating — it’s about the atmosphere. Expect live sets from DJ Shef Codesand Gaurav Thakur, bringing a lively soundtrack to the evening’s fire-led feast.
Families are welcome too, with a dedicated kids’ activation by Strawberry Fields adding a playful element to the line-up.
At its core, CarniVibes is about connection. It offers a rare chance to see chefs step out of their kitchens and interact directly with diners, creating a more personal, collaborative dining experience.
For CarniStore, the event is also a reflection of its ethos. Known for premium cuts and ready-to-eat smoked meats, the brand has built a loyal following by making high-quality produce accessible to home cooks and food lovers alike.
Hosting the festival at its Alserkal hub only adds to the appeal. The industrial, creative setting pairs perfectly with the raw, fire-led concept, making it feel equal parts underground pop-up and community celebration.
