Dubai is Brewing Big with World of Coffee 2026

Get ready for a dose of caffeine

Dubai is stirring up the global coffee scene once again. World of Coffee Dubai 2026 is set to bring three live auctions to the emirate next January—cementing its status as one of the world’s fastest-growing specialty coffee hubs.

A Bigger, Bolder Coffee Marketplace

Running from 18–20 January at Dubai World Trade Centre, the fifth edition of the annual event will feature an expanded auction programme under the Dubai Coffee Auction by DMCC banner. Last year’s inaugural auction saw micro-lots soar past USD 10,000 per kilogram—one of the highest prices recorded anywhere.

Now, the 2026 edition is scaling up, inviting top farms, emerging producers, and limited-edition equipment makers to put their best offerings on the global stage.

The auctions are organised by DMCC in partnership with DXB LIVE and coordinated with M-Cultivo, blending Dubai’s world-class event expertise with a fully digital auction ecosystem. Buyers around the world will be able to join remotely with complete traceability and verified data for each lot.

Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman and CEO of DMCC, said the expanded programme “builds on the momentum of last year’s record-breaking auction” and strengthens Dubai’s position as a leading global gateway for specialty coffee trade.

Three Days, Three Distinct Auctions

Day 1: Dubai Coffee Equipment Auction

An auction dedicated to rare, limited-edition gear and innovations—pieces you won’t find on any retail shelf. Expect global craftsmanship and collector-worthy designs.

Day 2: Microlot Coffee Auction

This is where the most coveted micro-lots go head-to-head. Beans from Panama, Colombia, Ethiopia, Yemen and Taiwan will be cupped and evaluated before live bidding begins.

Day 3: Exhibitors’ Coffee Auction

Roasters and producers from the show floor will present their top selections, offering buyers a chance to discover new talent and forge long-term partnerships.

A Market on the Rise

The UAE’s coffee market – currently worth over USD 3.2 billion – is projected to reach USD 4.5 billion by 2029. More than 11,000 café brands now operate across the country, while Dubai’s coffee re-exports exceed AED 3.5 billion. It’s a scene driven by young consumers, premium tastes, and a growing appreciation of craftsmanship.

Khalid Al Hammadi, Senior Vice President at DXB LIVE, says the auctions demonstrate Dubai’s growing influence: “They reflect the city’s expanding role as a leading centre for the coffee industry in the region.”

Exhibitors can now submit premium coffee lots or equipment for consideration, with each entry evaluated on innovation, traceability and cupping performance. Buyers must pre-register to participate onsite or online.
