Celebrity chef, author and television personality Ranveer Brar has unveiled a new culinary destination in Dubai, Kashkan Kissaghar, marking an exciting evolution of his acclaimed concept, Kashkan. Located at H Hotel, Sheikh Zayed Road, the restaurant redefines Indian dining through its harmony of soulful tradition, contemporary design and global creativity.
A Love Letter to Dubai
Kashkan Kissaghar, meaning “house of stories,” is more than a restaurant. It is Brar’s heartfelt tribute to Dubai, a city he describes as layered, inclusive and endlessly inspiring. Every detail within the space tells a story, blending artistry with emotion.

Design elements such as the Banyan Tree represent connection and resilience, while the Wishing Wall invites guests to weave their hopes into acts of kindness. Traditional Lippan art and the calming Mandala Wall together create an atmosphere that mirrors Dubai itself, a city where heritage and modernity coexist beautifully.
A Culinary Journey Across India
The menu at Kashkan Kissaghar takes diners on a journey across India’s diverse regions. Each dish is crafted to celebrate the country’s culinary traditions while embracing modern interpretations.
Highlights include the Kaddu Kachori Pie, a playful twist on a Rajasthani classic with sweet and sour pumpkin, whipped feta and spiced lentil crumble, and Saag Burrata, which brings together the earthy flavours of North Indian saag with the creaminess of Italian burrata.

Other standout dishes include the Naga Black Chicken Curry, made with fermented sesame and chilli paste, and the Dubai-style Pistachio Kunafa, a dessert that bridges Indian heritage with Middle Eastern indulgence.
Sustainability with Purpose
Chef Brar’s culinary philosophy extends beyond flavour. Known for his advocacy of sustainable cooking and indigenous grains, he continues to promote conscious dining through Kashkan Kissaghar. His long-standing collaborations with organisations such as the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) are reflected in the restaurant’s sourcing practices and thoughtful design ethos.
