Ramadan 2026: The Most Magical Tents and Majlises in Dubai

Break your fast at these stunning locations

Ramadan in Dubai has always been about the majlis, a special place for people to come together, reflect and reconnect. While the tradition is still at the heart of it, today’s majlis experiences have taken on new life. Hotels and restaurants around the city are putting a fresh spin on Iftar and Suhoor, creating unique atmospheres with elements such as design, art, scents, and music. Each venue offers its own distinct way to celebrate the holy month.

From intimate beachfront gatherings and fragrance-led Iftars to grand tents that bring entire communities together, this year’s Ramadan majlis reflects the diversity of how Dubai observes the fasting season. These are the most exceptional majlis destinations to visit this Ramadan.

Al Maha, A Luxury Collection Resort & Spa

At Al Maha, the iftar experience will take you back to the way the Bedouins did it. Nestled amongst the tranquil sands of the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, the gathering beckons guests to the Ghaf Oasis and begins with pass-around bites and a traditional Arabic coffee table, where dates and nuts are shared in keeping with Ramadan customs.

The experience continues with a selection of cold mezze and seasonal salads, before moving towards heartier offerings designed for gathering and sharing.  Live stations feature zarb-cooked chicken and slow-roasted lamb prepared in traditional style, alongside charcoal-grilled specialities and fragrant Oriental rice dishes. The evening concludes with a selection of classic Ramadan sweets, including kunafa, Om Ali, basbousa and dates.

Throughout the experience, live oud music and a live Arabic calligraphy artist will be present, setting the mood for the evening.
