Foodie moments you can’t miss this month
Ramadan is underway in full swing, and with it the creative gears of Dubai’s culinary community. 30 days, and so many collaborations to go to – these are the very best of iftar team-ups this month.
Bocasu x Dibsa
Japanese precision meets Emirati sweetness in this four-hands Ramadan collaboration. Step inside Bocasu and you’ll find one of Dubai’s most boundary-pushing concepts: part coffee roastery, part bonsai nursery, part premium Japanese restaurant.
Founded by Hamad Al Nuaimi and Ayesha Seedat, Dibsa is built on a simple but powerful belief: that heritage should be lived, not just remembered. The name itself comes from the Arabic word for rich date syrup, a cornerstone of Emirati hospitality.
While Dubai’s dessert scene is packed with patisseries, Dibsa focuses on local flavour with a contemporary edge. On the menu? Mahalabiya Cookies, Aseeda Cookies, Chebab Cookies and Aseeda Cake
The four-hands collaboration will see Bocasu’s Japanese culinary precision meet Dibsa’s Emirati soul in a limited Ramadan offering. Expect thoughtful flavour pairings, elegant presentation and dishes that bridge cultures in a way that feels natural rather than forced.
Khadak x Saanjh
Dastarkhwan and Dastaangoi – the communal feast and the art of storytelling; the two concepts come together this Ramadan at beloved Indian spot Khadak, brought to you in collaboration with Saanjh on Friday, March 6 from 6pm.
The ethos of the iftar table is focused on sharing – not just nourishing one’s own body, but being mindful of those around us, those who may or may not have those same privileges.
The Saanjh community celebrates the very best of the subcontinent – desi culture, people and stories, and as an extension of that, the essence of togetherness during this special month will be viewed and venerated through the medium of poetry and prose, with a session by acclaimed Indian actor Mohammed Zeeshan Ayub.
Baytooti x Subko
This is a celebration of the overlap between the subcontinent and the UAE – a storied history, tracing back to many generations live, lives made and identities created. An ancient trade route since time immemorial, the ties between the two regions are strong, and as such the shared lineage is heavy and deserving of honour.
Chef Lea Hazza, founder and wonder woman behind supper club experience SOULea will be cooking away with Chef Nafisa of Subko to create a menu of incredible fusions – Butter Chicken Fatteh, Bharta Ghannouj, Ouzi with Nihari Shoulder Lamb and Saffron Kulfi Baklava.
Many flavours. One long, communal table. Running every Wednesday during Ramadan.
Le Petite Maison x Chef Mona Mosly
La Petite Maison is marking Ramadan with a special chef collaboration — and it’s a big one. The French-Mediterranean favourite has teamed up with renowned Saudi chef and Top Chef Middle East judge Mona Mosly to create a limited-time Iftar menu that blends Riviera elegance with Middle Eastern warmth.
Created alongside LPM’s Group Executive Chef Celso Nazaré, the menu balances the brand’s signature refined simplicity with chef Mona’s comforting, home-inspired flavours. Expect dishes designed to be passed around the table, encouraging guests to slow down and savour the moment.
Soul Kitchen
This Ramadan, Soul Kitchen is doing things differently. Instead of a single set menu, the Dubai favourite is turning the Holy Month into a chef-led culinary series, inviting four standout chefs to take over the kitchen across four Saturdays. Think flavours that travel from Palestine to Peru, Jordan to Mexico – all under one soulful roof.
With the collaboration with Chef Ahmad Halawa, the Dubai-based supper club favourite known for his nostalgic Jordanian-Palestinian cooking, already a smash hit, the next dates are as follows: On Saturday, 28 February, the baton passes to Chef Andreé Núñez, who brings bold Peruvian flavours and playful creativity to the Iftar table.
On Saturday, 7 March, acclaimed Amman-based chef Sara Aqel of Dara Dining hosts a late-night Suhoor inspired by Mediterranean flavours and modern technique. The series comes to a high-spirited close on Saturday, 14 March, with Tacos Los Hermanos taking over the kitchen for the final Iftar of Ramadan.
Al Naqa Lao and Thai Kebab House x Maisan15
Not a new one, but one you can’t miss. This is the third edition of the special collaboration menus between the two local favourites, and this year, we have a special seafood iftar to contend with. A seafood-forward five-course menu, taking place on Friday, February 27 at Maisan15.
The menu includes combinations and computations like Al Naqa Grilled Tahini Caesar Salad – Omani prawn, special zaatar dust, rumi cheese, crispy potato, cabbage, baby gem and herbs, and the Double Dragon Golden Rice Platter – grilled kingfish steak, crispy motha fish, samke harra tartar sauce, spicy jeow som sauce, Maisan15 pickles and herbs.
So, you can only imagine the rest.
New Balance x Bait Maryam
Not quite an iftar, but one for the books – Dubai’s favourite Chef Salam Daqqaq is collaborating with New Balance to bring the New Balance I Chef Salam Suhoor Club – celebrating the launch of New Balance’s region-exclusive

This is a a community experience that celebrates the power of bringing people together and honours Ramadan as a time of connection and reflection, and in true spirit of that, the suhoor club will be open to the public until March 8. A curated menu, a communal table and a week of celebration.
