Master mixology, hot off the press
A first of it’s kind, Galaxy Bar Cocktails is here, and it is celebrating what great mixology really means. The first cocktail book to be published in the Middle East, this collection reflects spirit of one of Dubai’s most sought-after after-hours destination, while also honouring the global community of bars and mixologists.
The book has been conceptualised by Natasha Sideris, CEO and Founder of tashas Group, and brought to life by Krystian Hordejuk, Beverage Director, tashas Group and Custodian of Galaxy Bar, featuring stunning visuals and striking photography by Juliet Dunne.
The book is essentially an effort to capture the artistry and philosophy of Galaxy Bar’s legacy – cocktails that can compete on an international platform – and has a little something for everyone, whether that be well-seasoned professionals on the lookout for new inspiration, or eager amateurs looking to polish their craft and cocktails.

The glossy pages talk of the glamour of the world of cocktail art, venerate the creative forces that shape the wider industry, raise a toast to the best bartenders out there and is a milestone in Galaxy Bar’s journey, a tribute to its intimacy, design and making.

Flipping The Pages
The book is split into two parts – the first half introduces the fundamentals – tools, techniques, ice, and glassware – and the second features 60 original recipes, with 12 recipes in each of the five flavour-based chapters. Each recipe comes with detailed information, including tables noting skill level, flavour profile, core alcohol, glassware, ice, technique, and garnish, as well as additional sub-recipes for homemade cordials, syrups, and garnishes on the same page for easy reference.
For the first three months, Galaxy Bar Cocktails will be available exclusively through Le Clos, the official partner for its launch, before moving on to DXB Airport duty-free as well as selected online and offline stores, including Galaxy Bar, Collective Africa stores, and outlets across the UAE – priced at AED 320.
The book will also have an extensive international launch, beginning with a special evening at Kwānt in Mayfair during London Cocktail Week, where the book will be available for purchase, and in Athens at the Athens Bar Show, where the team will take over 360 Cocktail Bar, with the book on sale throughout the event.
