11 new additions to the growing guide
Abu Dhabi’s dining scene continues to flourish as the MICHELIN Guide Abu Dhabi 2026 reveals its fourth edition, celebrating both consistency and innovation. Announced at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental Abu Dhabi, the new guide features 56 restaurants – a mix of long-standing icons and exciting new additions that highlight the capital’s growing culinary depth.
Stars That Continue to Shine
The city’s three One MICHELIN Star restaurants — Erth, Hakkasan, and Talea by Antonio Guida — have once again retained their stars, underscoring their mastery and precision. Erth continues to elevate Emirati heritage through refined storytelling, Hakkasan remains a benchmark for contemporary Cantonese dining, and Talea by Antonio Guida brings authentic Italian artistry to the heart of Abu Dhabi. Their consistency cements them as culinary beacons in a city defined by ambition.
Eight Fresh Faces Join the Guide
Abu Dhabi’s appetite for new experiences is reflected in eight restaurants newly added to the Guide’s selection. From the elegant Italian flair of Cipriani Dolci and seaside comfort of Antonia, to Villa Mamas, which celebrates Khaleeji heritage through chef Roaya Saleh’s soulful cooking, each addition adds a new dimension to the city’s dining landscape.
Other highlights include Novikov Abu Dhabi, a Mediterranean-inspired global name; Taparelle, blending French and Italian classics in Manarat Al Saadiyat; Pincode by Kunal Kapur, offering a modern twist on Indian food; Strawfire by Ross Shonhan, where Japanese Warayaki-style grilling meets bold creativity; and Sand & Koal, a luxurious coastal retreat for seafood and grills.
Three New Bib Gourmands Recognised
The Bib Gourmand category, which honours exceptional food at great value, welcomes 3Fils Abu Dhabi, Bua Thai Café, and Goldfish. From inventive Japanese fare to comforting Thai dishes, these restaurants deliver memorable dining experiences without the fine-dining price tag. They join seven others — including ryba, Mika, and Beirut Sur Mer — that have successfully retained their distinction.
