For a limited time only
Dubai loves a good food collaboration, and the latest one pairs a true local legend with a modern smash burger brand. In Al Satwa, Ravi Restaurant has teamed up with Beau to launch a limited-time menu that blends Pakistani street flavours with French-style fast food finesse.
The result? A seekh kebab smash burger that’s already drawing crowds. This is the Seekh Smash Burger, where Ravi’s signature seekh kebab spices meet Beau’s signature smashed patty technique. The burger delivers the smoky, cumin-heavy punch of Pakistani kebabs, pressed thin and crisped on the griddle in true smash-burger style.
Alongside it, the short collaboration menu also includes chaat masala fries and a refreshing Rooh Afza lemonade, giving the meal a distinctly South Asian twist.
Few restaurants capture Dubai’s dining culture quite like Ravi Restaurant. Opened in 1978 in Al Satwa by Chaudary Abdul Hameed, the family-run eatery has built a decades-long reputation for honest, affordable Pakistani cooking.
It’s the kind of place where taxi drivers, chefs, creatives and late-night diners all sit side by side under bright lights and simple interiors.
Regulars swear by classics such as Chicken Tikka, Mutton Peshawari, Butter Chicken, Chicken Handi, Biryani, Dal Fry and Lassi. Over the years, Ravi has become a cultural landmark, even inspiring the limited-edition adidas Originals Superstar Ravi sneaker, cementing its cult status in Dubai.
On the other side of the collaboration is Beau, a Dubai-born smash burger concept that launched on Jumeirah Street in March 2023.
The brand positions itself as a pioneer of upscale fast food, bringing French culinary influence and attention to detail to the smash burger format. Its ambition goes beyond burgers, drawing inspiration from street culture, fashion, architecture and music.
Beau also claims the title of the Middle East’s first smash burger brand, with plans to grow into a global luxury fast-food concept.
With Pakistani street food flavours meeting French-style fast-food craftsmanship, the seekh smash burger might just be one of the city’s most interesting limited-time bites right now. If you’re curious, head to Al Satwa soon — because like all good food collaborations in Dubai, this one won’t be around forever.
