Whisk away to the Japanese capital
Word on the street is that Abu Dhabi’s favourite family-friendly festival is back — and it’s bringing a taste of Tokyo to the capital. The Rage returns with a brand-new theme: We Meet in Tokyo. From 7 to 11 January, Umm Al Emarat Park will transform into a vibrant hub of culture, craft, creation, and community.
For years, The Rage Festival has been one of Abu Dhabi’s go-to weekend escapes. Last year’s edition at Al Maryah Island’s South Plaza drew thousands of visitors, and this year promises to be just as spectacular. From interactive installations and workshops to live performances, there is something for everyone — whether you’re a foodie, art enthusiast, or simply looking for a unique outing with family and friends.
Tokyo, Reimagined
This year, the festival takes inspiration from Japan’s bustling capital, Tokyo. Visitors can expect a celebration of creativity, local talent, and cultural storytelling, all set against the serene backdrop of Umm Al Emarat Park. From traditional craft displays to innovative culinary experiences, Majlis The Rage offers an immersive weekend designed to spark curiosity and connection.
Whether sampling street-style eats, enjoying live performances, or exploring interactive art installations, The Rage brings the community together in a distinctly playful and creative atmosphere. For Abu Dhabi residents and visitors alike, it is the perfect way to kickstart the new year.
Registration news will be announced soon, and tickets are expected to sell fast. Keep an eye out — this is one festival experience you won’t want to miss.
