Nourishment for everyday life
Dubai’s homegrown hub for wellness and mindful movement, Paus, has something new for first-time visitors and loyalists to explore – The Eatery, at Paus, an all-day dining space reflecting everything the brand stands for, is now open, and diners can take a bite out of their nourishment-focused menu.
This is a space where it’s not just about consuming ‘healthy’ food. It’s also about how one consumes it – slowing down, being mindful and sharing with your dining companions a feeling of grounding and generosity, whatever time of the day it might be. Humans have always been communal beings, and sharing is vital, for our mental and social health.

The intent of the menu is to provide diners with food that has been made fresh, with love, and to know that whatever they’re putting in their body is good for them. Well-being must be a part of daily life, not a trend we tap into. Behind the counter, the bakers, chefs, and baristas work together to prepare breads, pastries, and sweets fresh each morning, and meals that can be shared.
The Menu
The menu draws inspiration from Middle Eastern and Indian culinary traditions, reflecting both Dubai’s diverse identity and Paus’ own roots. Guests can expect to try dishes like Braised Beef Cheek with Saffron Harees, slow-braised with Emirati bezar spice; Molokhia Chicken with Vermicelli Rice, a comforting nod to the Levant; and Curry Leaf Potato Rosti, a breakfast favourite that blends spice, texture, and nostalgia.

Small plates and dishes make sharing encourage togetherness around the table – the Dip Mezze Platter with warm khameer to the Lamb Tacos made in collaboration with Lila Molino, using heirloom corn grown and milled in the region. Indulgent desserts to end your meal include Sticky Date Toffee Pudding and Saffron Shrikhand.
About Paus
Founded by sisters Sophiya and Sarah Faizal, the idea behind Paus was simple – to create a space that treated well-being not as a remedy to when we’re feeling out of order, or a trend we tap into because it’s fashionable, but as a daily necessity, a way of life. Life in big cities is fast, loud, stressful, and using their own experience as a driving force, they set out to create a home where one could slow down, pause, connect with their tribe and themselves, move, eat and share at their own pace.

Paus started as a cafe space, and has now evolved into the full-rounded Paus Club: a full-spectrum hub that offers everything, from purpose-built movement areas, including Reformers, Mat Pilates, Strength, Padel, and more, to the Eatery, to a spa focused on recovery and women’s health, and a calendar of community events that include talks, workshops, and gatherings.
