The Organic Farmer’s Market is Back at Alserkal Avenue

Fresh finds only, every Saturday

Dubai’s favourite weekend tradition is back. The Organic Farmer’s Market has made it’s much anticipated return to Alserkal Avenue this Saturday, transforming the creative hub into a vibrant space filled with farm-fresh produce, artisanal goods, and community connection.

Running every Saturday from 9am to 3pm, the market sets up along the main lane in front of A4 Space, offering visitors the perfect way to spend a relaxed morning outdoors. Organised by Food Explained in collaboration with Integrated Green Resources LLC, this non-profit initiative brings together farmers and producers from across the UAE — from Abu Dhabi and Al Ain to Dubai, Sharjah, and Umm Al Quwain.

Celebrating Local

Each week, the market features a rotating selection of produce based on seasonal availability. Shoppers can expect an abundance of organic fruits, vegetables, herbs, eggs, dairy, honey, and more — freshly harvested and brought directly from the farms.

Participating farms include Modern Organic Farm, Organic Rashid Farm, Hasabi Organic Farm, and Aljimi Organica Farm. The initiative supports national food security priorities, fostering sustainable grocery shopping by connecting consumers directly with local growers — without middlemen.

Beyond Produce

But it’s not just about the vegetables. This is a market with heart and flavour, showcasing artisan bakeries, small kitchens, and local brands, each offering something unique. Among the highlights are Koala Picks, Lila Milano, Tamra & Somsom Popular Food, and Camp’s Kitchen, alongside Balqees Honey, Happy Organic Earth, and Astraea Olive Products.

There’s even a touch of creativity beyond the kitchen — with stalls offering house plants, vegan jams, handmade soaps, and organic clothing. It’s a space where craftsmanship and sustainability go hand in hand.

A Community Gathering at Alserkal

Visitors can also look forward to food talks, cooking demonstrations, and interactive sessions on urban gardening, encouraging residents to grow their own produce at home. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, making it ideal for a morning outing with loved ones.

Once the shopping bags are full, there’s every reason to linger — Alserkal Avenue’s cafés and galleries make the perfect stop for lunch or a sweet treat. A must-visit is BKRY, known for its freshly baked pastries and excellent coffee.

The Organic Farmer’s Market at Alserkal Avenue is more than just a shopping destination — it’s a celebration of mindful living, community, and the local bounty of the UAE.
