Yannick Alléno Opens Two New Restaurants in Dubai

Two new concepts, one mind

Dubai is getting a double dose of MICHELIN-starred magic this October. French culinary heavyweight Yannick Alléno is bringing two very different dining experiences to One&Only The Palm, with Japanese omakase restaurant L’Abysse Dubai and Riviera-inspired Casea 101 both opening on 19 October.

L’Abysse Dubai

Following successful outposts in Paris, Monaco and Osaka, L’Abysse is making its Middle East debut with an intimate 34-seat restaurant dedicated to Japanese craftsmanship, precision and the art of sushi.

Expect an immersive omakase experience built around the close relationship between the sushi master and the diner, with each detail carefully considered. The concept also draws on Alléno’s signature Cuisine of Time philosophy, which explores how time and technique can transform ingredients into something extraordinary. With its focus on artistry and discovery, L’Abysse promises a more intimate alternative to Dubai’s bigger, buzzy dining rooms.

Casea 101

Meanwhile, those after Mediterranean sunshine on a plate can head to Casea 101, another new opening from the celebrated chef.

Set along the waterfront at One&Only The Palm, the restaurant will bring together Italian coastal cuisine, Mediterranean ingredients and the laid-back glamour of the French Riviera. Think leisurely lunches, golden-hour gatherings, sunset drinks and dinners that stretch into the evening.

Designed to follow the rhythm of the day, Casea 101 aims to capture the Riviera’s easy-going social spirit while adding a touch of Alléno’s signature refinement.

The restaurant will be open daily from 12.30pm, with the last dinner seating at 10.30pm, making it a contender for everything from a long lunch to a waterfront date night.

Two Openings, One Culinary Moment

With L’Abysse Dubai offering a carefully curated Japanese omakase journey and Casea 101 bringing Mediterranean flavours to the waterfront, the twin openings showcase two distinct sides of Alléno’s culinary vision.

Both restaurants open on 19 October at One&Only The Palm, giving Dubai diners two fresh reasons to book a table this month.
