With winter approaching, Dubai has new openings a plenty to fill our social calendars. High on this list is Beirut favourite Cyrano Maison Sociale, making its Dubai debut at City Walk. The concept is bringing a European-inspired bar and brasserie concept to the city, designed slow you down in the best way possible.
The Rhythm of The Day
Cyrano is built around the rhythm of the day, with one address shifting from breakfast and social lunches to afternoon aperitivo, brasserie dinners and late-night drinks. It brings a bar, dining room and brasserie together, drawing on European social-house culture and Lebanese hospitality.

The Dubai opening is the latest addition to Lebanese hospitality group Butlers & Co. Cyrano is designed to move with its guests, from daytime meals to aperitivo and dinner. Besides the concept itself, the most exciting aspect of Cyrano is the fact that it sits with ease somewhere within The New Middle of Dubai – a tier of dining designed more for the people and less for the performance of hospitality.
These are the restaurants that occupy a space of familiarity, comfort and connection – a space that triumphs when all else fails, as we have seen through the changing industry climate earlier this year. At the end of a difficult period for the sector, the names that stood put were the ones that were affordable, easy to digest, in every sense of the word, and community-centric, and that says much about how dining in Dubai is evolving.
The Menu
The menu takes a modern approach to European cooking, bringing together French and Mediterranean influences, Spanish-style sharing plates and familiar brasserie dishes. Premium ingredients feature across a line-up that moves from lighter starters to more substantial mains.
Expect chorizo croquettes, beef tartare, tuna crudo and warm lobster rolls to start, followed by grilled seabass, steak au poivre, homemade linguine and fish and chips. The mix gives diners the choice of sharing a few plates or settling in for a classic main course.

Behind the bar, the drinks programme includes signature cocktails and timeless classics, alongside a dedicated aperitivo selection. An extensive, curated list of wines, cocktails and spirits is also part of the offering, giving the drinks menu a role beyond simply accompanying dinner.
More Than a Brasserie
Cyrano’s plans extend beyond its food and drinks. Traditional guéridon service will bring tableside theatre to the dining room, while a calendar of design, music and culinary collaborations is set to introduce different creative voices throughout the year.
Aperitivo is intended to be a regular ritual, reflecting the concept’s emphasis on the social side of dining. The aim is to establish Cyrano as part of the City Walk neighbourhood, rather than simply another restaurant within it.

Founded in 2010, Butlers & Co has spent 16 years building a portfolio of Lebanese hospitality concepts across neighbourhood bars, beach clubs, brasseries and restaurants. Its brands include House of Butlers, Cyrano, Cyrano Brasserie, Butlers Beach Club, Butlers Table, CLUBROOM and Butlers Mixology. The City Walk opening marks the group’s continued expansion beyond Lebanon.
