Wine and dine is back
Another month, another Wine and Dine at Time Out Market, and this time, Chef Reif Othman is taking the stage. Closing out the month of April with a one-night-only, exclusive experience, Chef Othman and TOM are hosting an intimate 8-seater wine-pairing dinner at the Editor’s Table in collaboration with REIF, taking place on 30 April.
The dinner will feature a carefully crafted, curated menu, serving up some top notch Japanese kushiyaki – kushi meaning skewer; yaki meaning grilled. Together, kushiyaki refers to any ingredient, skewered and cooked over charcoal. Typically, this would be chicken, beef, seafood and other types of protein, and vegetables.

A welcome drink will be served on arrival, and each course will be paired with a wine tasting – eight in total. Throughout the evening, diners will be given the low down on all the wines by knowledgeable sommeliers from Cuvée, sharing insights into flavour profiles, grape varieties and why each wine works with the dish, so you know exactly what you’re drinking.
Diners will also get a chance to vote for the best wine pairing for each dish, with one sommelier taking home the win – a twist that is a signature part of this experience.

This collaboration with Chef Othman is another addition to The Editor’s Table – a series that continues to spotlight and celebrate a rotating selection of chefs and sommeliers.
The Editor’s Table continues to spotlight a rotating lineup of chefs and wine experts, ensuring each event delivers a fresh and distinctive dining experience. The last one was hosted in January, in collaboration with Chef Omar Rodriguez of Slab Cocina, who served a journey across the Americas, with dishes inspired by Peruvian ceviche, Mexican tacos and other regional classics, all reimagined with seasonal produce and subtle Middle Eastern touches.
