Cheap eats have never been better
Running from 3 to 30 August, the popular 10 Dirham Dish campaign returns as part of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), giving diners the chance to sample specially created dishes at more than 170 restaurants across over 700 locations. Better yet, there’s no need for vouchers or bookings – simply turn up and ask for the restaurant’s AED 10 dish.
Whether you’re looking for a quick lunch, a family dinner or an excuse to try somewhere new, the month-long promotion spans cafés, food halls, shopping malls and neighbourhood favourites across Dubai.
The campaign is designed to encourage residents and visitors to explore the city’s diverse dining scene without stretching their budgets, making it one of the best-value foodie events of the summer.

This year’s line-up covers everything from Asian street food to regional comfort dishes and sweet treats.
Highlights include Chicken Siew Mai at The Noodle House, Cheese Rolls and Mix Gyoza from Sumo Sushi & Bento, steamed momos at Shanghai Kitchen, and refreshing Mango or Matcha Bingsoo at Seoul Street Café. Fans of classic comfort food can also pick up Shake Shack’s New York Plain Hot Dog, while Pret A Manger is offering an Americano with a Pastel de Nata.
Regional favourites are equally well represented, with Iraqi Kebab Arouq Sandwiches from Feka, Pav Bhaji at Mumbai Junction and Kailash Parbat, and Malai Kulfi Sticks from Dhaba Lane all joining the line-up. Meanwhile, those with a sweet tooth can cool down with treats from Baskin Robbins, Cold Stone Creamery, Gelato Divino and House of Pops, alongside coffee-and-pastry deals at Costa Coffee and Caribou Coffee.
One of the biggest draws of the campaign is its simplicity. There are no coupons to download or reservations to make – just visit any participating venue and order its designated AED10 dish.
