Dubai’s First Cake Picnic is Here

Cake galore this Saturday

If there’s one thing Dubai loves, it’s dessert. And now there’s a brand-new event dedicated entirely to it. Erin’s Table, the supper club, is hosting the city’s first-ever Cake Picnic on Saturday 1 August, bringing together bakers, cake lovers and anyone who’ll happily eat dessert for lunch.

Taking place at Mishkah – Olive Oil Stations & Cafe from 12pm to 3pm, the event promises an afternoon filled with cakes, puddings and plenty of sweet treats.

Fancy getting involved? Bakers can take part for free by bringing along their own creations and joining the community of local dessert makers.

If you’re just there to eat, we’ve got good news. You’ll get a box to fill with as many slices of cake and puddings as you can from the participating bakers, for a price, so you can mix and match your dream dessert selection.

Hosted by Erin’s Table, the popular private supper club by Chef Erin Toohey, the Cake Picnic is all about bringing people together over something everyone can agree on: cake. If all goes to plan, this could become a regular fixture on Dubai’s foodie calendar.

Whether you’re a passionate home baker or simply looking for an excuse to spend your Saturday surrounded by desserts, this is one sweet event worth checking out.
