Beirut’s beloved goes to the capital
Dubai’s much-loved Em Sherif Deli is landing in Al Ain, bringing a taste of Beirut to the city with its third UAE location – and first outside Dubai.
Opening soon at Al Mutarid Lifestyle Center, the casual Lebanese concept is designed for easy all-day dining, whether you’re stopping by for breakfast, grabbing lunch on the go or settling in for a late-night bite.
The deli is the more relaxed sibling of the renowned Em Sherif restaurant, offering familiar Lebanese flavours in a contemporary, everyday format.
Created by Yasmina Hayek, daughter of Em Sherif founder Mireille Hayek, Em Sherif Deli puts a younger spin on the family’s culinary legacy.
The menu brings together traditional Lebanese recipes and modern deli-style dishes, with plenty of options for dine-in and takeaway. Expect shawarma served with fresh salads or grain bowls, alongside Lebanese mezze including hummus, mutabbal and muhammara, as well as slow-cooked vegetable dishes.
There’s plenty to choose from if you’re after something more filling. Sourdough man’oushe, Levantine-inspired sandwiches, grilled kebabs and samkeh harra – a spiced Lebanese fish dish – feature on the menu, while daily specials mean there’s always a reason to return.
And it wouldn’t be a Lebanese deli without something sweet. The pastry counter is packed with favourites including rosewater muhallabiyeh, rice pudding, pistachio mafrouke and aysh el saraya, alongside cakes and cookies.
Drinks cover all bases, too, from morning espresso and Arabic coffee to fresh juices, floral teas and wellness shots.
With its first Al Ain outpost, Em Sherif Deli is bringing the flavours of Beirut to a new city – one man’oushe and mezze plate at a time.
