Where legacies meet
Two of Dubai’s best-loved homegrown dining institutions are coming together this August for a limited-time collaboration celebrating the flavours, traditions and stories that connect India and Pakistan. Taking place on August 14 and 15, Khadak × Ravi promises more than just a dinner – it’s a celebration of heritage, hospitality and the communities that have shaped Dubai’s food scene.
The collaboration begins at Ravi in Al Satwa on August 14 before moving to Khadak in Al Wasl on August 15. Across both evenings, guests will enjoy signature dishes from each restaurant while hearing from Ravi’s founder, the next generation carrying its legacy forward, and Khadak’s Chef Naved Nasir as they share stories of tradition, generosity and the enduring role food plays in bringing people together.
Rather than reinventing classic dishes, the collaboration celebrates the authentic recipes and comforting flavours that have long been enjoyed across the subcontinent. The specially curated menu opens with nostalgic favourites including Mohabbat Ka Sharbat, Karari Kale Chaat from Khadak and a generous mixed grill platter featuring signature kebabs and tikkas from both kitchens.
A refreshing Pakola Ka Gola palate cleanser bridges the courses before mains including Khadak’s slow-cooked Nalli Nihari, vegetarian Kathal Ki Haleem, Ravi’s iconic Mutton Peshawari and its comforting Yellow Dal, served alongside freshly baked breads from both restaurants. Dessert finishes on a nostalgic note with Khadak’s Falooda Popsicle and Ravi’s classic Kheer.
The collaboration runs on Thursday August 14 at Ravi, Al Satwa, and Friday August 15 at Khadak, Al Wasl, from 7pm to 9.30pm. It’s a rare opportunity to experience two of Dubai’s most iconic restaurants sharing one table and one story.
