Slow down for some sips
Fans of the LPM drinks scene – from September 30, La Petite Maison (LPM) Dubai and Abu Dhabi are bringing back Le Cinq à Sept, the French Riviera-inspired early-evening ritual, with a new identity and five brand-new cocktails.
Running Monday to Friday from 5pm to 7pm, the refreshed experience is called Le Grand Détour: The Art of Taking the Long Way Home. It takes its cue from the unhurried pace of the French Riviera, encouraging diners to linger over a drink before calling it a night.
Five New Concoctions
The new drinks menu takes inspiration from L’Heure Bleue, that fleeting moment between sunset and night when the Mediterranean sky turns deep blue. There are five cocktails to work through, each bringing its own combination of Mediterranean flavours to reflect the expert mixology of LPM.

The Martini Marinière mixes gin, sea distillate, vermouth, smoked onion and parsley, while the Garden Spritz combines St-Germain, Fino Sherry and fig leaf soda.
For something more unusual, the Wild Harvest Sour pairs gin and Mastiha with lemon, black tomato, blackberry and salt. The Sundown Rosita brings together reposado tequila, vermouth, Campari and artichoke.

Rounding things off is the Café de Nuit, made with rum, Amaro Lucano, LPM’s signature cold brew blend, honey, salted vanilla cream and spice.
A Midweek Excuse to Linger
Le Grand Détour is all about those couple of hours between finishing work and sitting down for dinner, when the evening is still wide open and plans can take an unexpected turn. At LPM, that means settling in with a cocktail, Mediterranean flavours and a little French Riviera atmosphere before making your way home.
