Robz’ Chef’s Table: The Intimate Supper Club Returns

Now in a new format

Chef Robin Höfer is bringing back his supper club with a brand-new format – and bookings are now open.

Following his recent stint as Executive Chef at Kraken, Höfer, who was shortlisted as Gault&Millau UAE’s Future Great of the Year 2025, is returning with Robz’ Chef’s Table 2.0, a seven-course experience blending German culinary traditions with Asian flavours.

The new edition has been streamlined from 13 courses to seven, with a larger table accommodating up to 14 guests. The experience includes a homemade tepache welcome drink and water, while non-alcoholic and wine pairings are available for an additional charge.

The supper club’s secret location will only be revealed once your booking is confirmed, adding to the intimate, invite-only feel. The menu takes diners through seven ‘impressions’ inspired by different chapters of Höfer’s life and career.

Expect a reimagined Maultasche, a German dumpling filled with memories of Höfer’s hometown market, served with oyster sauce-hollandaise, baby lettuce and lemongrass jus. There’s also an autumnal Onion Tart with beef bacon, leek and Bergkäse, paired with homemade fermented grape juice.

Elsewhere, Beef Tartare gets an Asian makeover with kimchi and yuzu kosho, alongside a hazelnut horseradish vinaigrette. Guests will also get to try a home-baked Pretzel with fermented buckwheat miso butter.

The optional non-alcoholic pairing continues the experimental theme, featuring homemade fermented drinks with ever-changing flavour combinations.

Rather than focusing heavily on fine-dining technique and elaborate plating, this edition of the supper club is rooted in the chef’s German heritage and childhood memories, alongside influences from his time cooking and travelling across Asia.

“Robz’ Chef’s Table 2.0 is about going back to basics,” says Höfer. “The new menu leans into the roots of German cooking and flavours that evoke curiosity.”

There’s even a sentimental detail at the table: guests will dine using silver cutlery inherited from Höfer’s grandmother, Lore.

Bookings and future dates are announced exclusively via @robz.chefstable and @chefrobinhoefer’s Instagram Stories. Private bookings for up to 14 guests are also available on request.
