A French state of mind, every Thursday
If you’re looking for an excuse to make Thursday night a little more French, Chez Wam has just the thing for you. The Palm Jumeirah restaurant has launched A Night in Paris, a new weekly Thursday experience celebrating the French roots of co-owner and executive chef Hadrien Villedieu.
Running alongside the restaurant’s usual à la carte menu, the new offering features nine dishes: three starters, three mains and three desserts. Each is individually priced, so diners can stick to the Parisian-inspired menu, order their Chez Wam favourites, or mix and match between the two.

The Chez Wam Way
Expect familiar French favourites with a little Chez Wam flair. The Croque Monsieur comes with 24-month-aged Comté and veal ham, while the Boeuf Bourguignon features slow-cooked short rib, glazed onions, carrots and mashed potatoes.
For something sweet, there’s Apple Tarte Tatin, served with vanilla crème épaisse and salted caramel. The menu reflects Villedieu’s cooking style, where French technique and tradition meet influences picked up during his years working and travelling across places including Morocco and Japan.

Dinner, and Then drinks
It wouldn’t be a Chez Wam evening without music. A live DJ will soundtrack Thursdays with French classics and remixes, carrying the night from dinner into drinks. The launch comes after a notable year for the restaurant, which sits at No. 40 on MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants 2026 and is also featured on World’s 50 Best Discovery and in the Gault & Millau 2026 guide.
