Our favourite chefs, now in a new destination
Mall dining in Dubai is getting a serious upgrade, as Majid Al Futtaim unveils Chef’s Society at City Centre Mirdif, a brand-new chef-led dining destination bringing together some of the UAE’s most celebrated culinary names under one roof.
Now open in its first phase, the concept introduces four homegrown and internationally acclaimed restaurants, with more set to join the line-up later this year.
Leading the opening is Bait Maryam, the much-loved Levantine restaurant by Chef Salam Daqqaq, known for its award-winning, home-style dishes inspired by family recipes.
Pizza lovers can head to Bonci, where world-renowned Italian pizzaiolo Gabriele Bonci is serving his famous Roman-style pizza al taglio by the slice.

Also joining the collection is ATHAR By the Qlab, Chef Nabhan Al Ali’s contemporary all-day dining concept, alongside REIF Japanese Kushiyaki, where acclaimed Chef Reif Othman delivers his signature take on bold Japanese-inspired flavours.
Together, the restaurants create a diverse dining line-up that spans everything from comforting Middle Eastern classics to authentic Italian and modern Japanese cuisine.
Rather than a traditional food hall, Chef’s Society has been designed as a culinary collective that puts chefs and their stories centre stage. The destination aims to bring together creativity, craftsmanship and community, giving diners the chance to discover standout concepts in one vibrant space.

The launch also reflects the growing demand for experience-led dining, with City Centre Mirdif expanding beyond shopping to become a destination for food lovers.
While four concepts are now welcoming guests, Chef’s Society is only just getting started. Majid Al Futtaim has confirmed that additional chef-led restaurants will join the destination over the coming months, further expanding the offering.

The opening marks another milestone for the Emirati lifestyle group, which operates 29 shopping malls across the Middle East, Africa and Asia, including Mall of the Emirates and City Centre Mirdif.
Whether you’re planning a casual lunch, pizza night or chef-driven dinner, Chef’s Society looks set to become one of Dubai’s newest go-to dining spots.
