Coming this summer
Dubai’s dining scene is about to welcome a new Asian hotspot, as Hey Tiger prepares to make its debut in Motor City later this summer. The new concept comes from the team behind Brass Monkey Hospitality and promises a lively mix of open-kitchen dining, Korean barbecue, creative cocktails and late-night energy.
Taking over the upper floor of the Motor City Clubhouse, Hey Tiger is being positioned as a modern Asian social house inspired by the flavours and dining cultures of Japan, Korea, China and beyond. Designed around shared dining experiences, the venue will combine food, music and atmosphere in a space built for long dinners and sociable nights out.

While the building will also house a new Brass Monkey venue downstairs, Hey Tiger stands out as the group’s newest standalone concept and one of its most ambitious restaurant launches to date.
Food will play a central role at Hey Tiger, with a menu spanning robata-grilled dishes, sushi, sashimi, maki rolls, dim sum and wok-fired favourites. A major highlight will be the Korean barbecue experience, where guests can grill premium cuts and marinated meats at dedicated tabletop grills.
The kitchen will be led by Chef Prabin Tamang, whose experience includes acclaimed Dubai restaurants such as Mimi Kakushi and OKKU. He will be joined by a team specialising in Japanese, Korean and Chinese cuisine.
Beyond the food, Hey Tiger is aiming to become a go-to social destination. Expect an extensive drinks programme featuring Asian-inspired cocktails, highballs, sake, soju and someak, paired with a soundtrack that evolves throughout the evening.
When temperatures cool down, the venue’s outdoor terrace is expected to become a major draw, offering a spacious setting for al fresco dining, drinks and late-night gatherings.

According to Brass Monkey Hospitality, the concept has been designed to feel immersive from the moment guests arrive, combining open kitchens, music and interactive dining experiences with accessible pricing aimed at regular visits rather than special occasions alone.
An exact opening date has yet to be announced, but with Korean barbecue, robata grilling and a large outdoor terrace all on the cards, Hey Tiger could quickly become one of Motor City’s most exciting new restaurant openings of 2026.
