Jodhpur Bar & Kitchen Brings Rajasthan’s Grandeur to Jumeirah

The newest addition to Dubai’s dining scene

Jodhpur Bar & Kitchen has officially opened its doors in Dubai, steeped in tradition and bringing the rich culinary traditions of Rajasthan to the city with a refined, immersive twist.

Located inside the Hyatt Place Dubai Jumeirah, the concept draws inspiration from the palaces and forts of Jodhpur – famously known as the ‘Blue City’. But this isn’t about recreating the past. Instead, it’s a modern interpretation of Marwari culture, where bold flavours, storytelling design and a sense of occasion come together seamlessly.

Step inside and you’ll find a space that feels transportive without being over the top. The interiors lean heavily into deep blue tones layered with warm textures, echoing the architectural identity of Rajasthan.

Expect arched details, handcrafted finishes and walls lined with portraits of royal figures. Carefully curated artefacts, embroidered fabrics and patterned cushions add richness, giving the restaurant a lived-in, almost palace-like feel. It’s elegant yet inviting – designed for long, unhurried evenings.

The menu is where Jodhpur truly shines, offering a contemporary take on Marwari cuisine while staying faithful to its roots. It’s designed as a journey, starting with small plates and building into hearty, flavour-packed mains.

Signature starters include Barmeri Badam Aur Khajoor Kebabs, while traditional dishes such as Daal Baati Churma and Surya Nagri Shahi Gatte ki Sabzi anchor the main course selection. There’s also the intriguingly named Gulab Jamun ki Sabzi, showcasing the region’s bold and unexpected flavour pairings.

Sides like Ghee Mishri Roti and Jodhpuri Kabuli round things off, while desserts lean indulgent, with Jalebi Caviar and Thandai Rasmalai adding a playful, modern edge.

The bar programme mirrors the kitchen’s philosophy, with cocktails built around spice, aroma and seasonal ingredients. Expect a mix of reworked classics and inventive signatures, all designed to complement the richness of the food.

Jodhpur isn’t just about what’s on the plate. Open daily from 6pm to 2am, the restaurant shifts in mood as the evening unfolds. On weekends, live music adds an extra layer of energy, making it as suitable for a lively night out as it is for a relaxed dinner.

While Dubai is no stranger to Indian cuisine, Jodhpur Bar & Kitchen stands out for its deep dive into regional identity. It’s thoughtful, atmospheric and rooted in storytelling – offering something that feels both culturally rich and refreshingly new.
