Dubai’s dining scene loves a collaboration, but this one sounds particularly unmissable. On Wednesday 20 May, KONA Pizza House and Revolver Dubai are joining forces for a one-night-only dinner bringing together two of the city’s most talked-about chefs under one roof.
Hosted at KONA Pizza House inside One Za’abeel’s Culinara dining destination, the collaboration will see Chef Reif Othman and Chef Jitin Joshi create a multi-course menu that blends Japanese-Italian comfort food with smoky modern Indian flavours.
At first glance, the pairing sounds unexpected. KONA Pizza House has built its reputation on playful Japanese-inspired pizzas and bold fusion cooking, while Revolver Dubai is known for theatrical open-fire dishes packed with spice and intensity.
Chef Reif Othman, the name behind several cult-favourite Dubai concepts, is known for pushing familiar dishes in surprising directions, while Chef Jitin Joshi has quickly turned Revolver Dubai into one of the city’s buzziest restaurant bookings thanks to his globally influenced approach to Indian cuisine.
The resulting menu promises a little chaos in the best possible way.
The limited-seat dinner will feature exclusive dishes created specially for the evening, including Tender Coconut Ceviche with corn and apple, Butter Chicken Kulchette topped with Gruyère, and a Dubai Chocolate Sundae finished with pistachio and kunafa.
The chefs are leaning fully into bold flavour combinations rather than playing it safe — which, frankly, is usually where the best meals happen.
Seats are limited, and advance booking is essential.
