Returning this June

Off Menu by nom:me x CarniStore is back for a second edition, with a brand new line-up of chefs taking over the CarniStore space with exclusive, off-menu creations over three different nights.

If you missed the first volume, or joined us and loved it so much that you want more, then this next series is just as, if not more exciting. Taking place over three consecutive weeks, the supper club will welcome chefs Sahar Al Awadhi, Robin Höfer and Omar Basiony at CarniStore, Warehouse 6A, Alserkal Avenue.

The Chefs

Chef Sahar Al Awadhi of The Magic Abra

The first night will take place on Tuesday 2 June with Chef Sahar Al Awadhi – one of the UAE’s most celebrated pastry chefs and the mind behind The Magic Abra, a concept revolutionising Emirati cuisine by combining heritage flavours, local produce and innovative takes.

The first Emirati chef to work in the Burj Al Arab kitchen, she became known for creations while leading the pastry kitchen at the property.

Chef Robin Höfer of Kraken

The second night will take place on Tuesday 9 June with Chef Robin Höfer of Kraken. A German native, Chef Robin brings with him the experience of MICHELIN-starred kitchens across Europe and a highly-successful stint at Dubai’s very own Ossiano.

He draws inspiration from his travels through Asia and his childhood in Überlingen, a small town on the shore of Lake Constance.

Chef Omar Basiony of Bâoli

The third night will take place on Wednesday 17 June with Chef Omar Basiony of Bâoli – serving a fusion of French, Mediterranean and Japanese cuisine at the Dubai outpost of this acclaimed global brand. His journey took him from Chicago to Boston, through MICHELIN-starred kitchens and to Dubai.

Bâoli is something of a legend in luxury nightlife, born in the French Riviera, in Cannes, exported to Miami and now in Dubai.

CarniStore continues to anchor this volume, supplying the protein for the menus and converting its Alserkal Avenue headquarters into a raw, understated dining space.
